Restoration

The classic bike scene is growing each year, and at KSR, we are aware that some customers may have a cherished classic bike they are looking to restore or simply keep maintained. We offer a bespoke restoration service that includes the following:

• Powder coating

• Polishing

• Re-chroming

• Engine rebuilds and gas flowing for 2T & 4T engines

• Ultrasonic cleaning

• Welding (carried out at our Northwest fabrication workshop)

• Machining

Our engineering shop in the Northwest boasts a dedicated team of engineers who are proficient in working with both CAD and old-school drawings. If you have a part that needs modifying or making from scratch and you don’t have the drawing, don’t worry; our team can create it based on measurements from the original part.

As an example, during the 2015 KTM Cup championship at British Superbikes, KTM Power parts were unable to supply foot pegs or handlebars. In response, we stepped in and produced our own, not only for ourselves but also for other KTM riders in the championship. It was gratifying to know that our little engineering shop in the Northwest was able to supply these parts to KTM UK when the factory couldn’t.
