Motorcycle Suspension Servicing & Upgrades

Motorcycle suspension plays a major part in the bikes over all performance, and yet your shock absorber and front forks are often overlooked during service schedules. The service and maintenance schedule of the suspension will depend on the nature of riding styles of its rider.  Track days or short circuit racing will see front and rear suspension stripped and serviced a number of times within a seasons racing. Commuter bikes and weekend pride and joys should have a routine inspection and overhaul every two to three years, the oil alone will become tired and internal bush wear often takes place, left too long and Anodised coatings inside of their chambers will wear thin and result in reduced damping in the shock and forks.

Your suspension is in safe hands, we are a K-tech service centre, we have trained suspension technicians. With a recent investment in Ohlins and K-tech factory tools we are able to service Showa, Kayaba, Ohlins, K-tech and Nitron shocks and forks.

We are proud to partner with K-tech equipment, their Vacuum machine and Nitrogen gas equipment is a leading industry standard.

Most manufactures depending on bike model will look to fit entry level basic suspension, some shocks just are not capable of taking upgraded internal components and a replacement shock would be the recomended upgrade.

Depending on your budget we can supply upgraded shocks from YSS suspension, however if your budget can go a little further we would recommend a K-tech upgrade, Most quality Showa and Kayaba shocks really benefit from a re-valve and service, some of our club racing customers run standard Showa units with our custom K-tech internal upgraded components, please call to discuss your requirements.

 KTM, GAS GAS, K-tech bladder conversion will transfer the riding quality of your WP shock fitted to your motocross or Enduro bike. We also supply and fit K-tech piston and shim stack upgrades, this upgrade will give you a dynamic set up capability , with excellent fine tuning with the shock and fork range, whether you are running at a hare and hounds or MX track.

Ride in/Ride out service

Send your shock or forks to us, download our customer suspension sheet KSR CUSTOMER SERVICE SHEET, fill out and enclose with your suspension. Once we receive your suspension we will call you to confirm and have a chat about any upgrades to your suspension. We will also call you once we have stripped the suspension, should there be any additional parts we will discuss with you by phone call and send over to you some detailed photos identifying the component wear.

Your refreshed shock will be sent back by insured Royal mail Parcel Force.
